Yachts Racing in the Upper Bay -- James Edward Butterworth |
First of all, there is the boat itself, the steady and productive sextile between Pluto in Capricorn and Saturn in Scorpio. This acts like ballast because frankly all those planets in Pisces plus Jupiter in Gemini make it hard to stay on an even keel.
The sail is over there in Pisces, with six planets blowing west and Mercury providing a skittish little zephyr the other way. You can see how the excellent trine from Saturn tethers those Pisces energies down, and so does the sextile from Pluto.
Jupiter in Gemini provides a huge jarring gust of wind, adding to the momentum. It's still at the point of a yod from Pluto and Saturn. This yod suggests that we need proper information now. Jupiter is inclined to exaggerate or even to tell lies in Gemini, but Saturn and Pluto just won't let that happen. They demand hard facts. With Saturn in the sign of debt and Pluto in the sign of government, it's not surprising we're talking a lot about the economy. In Britain, two members of the government have already delivered alternatives to the budget speech due on March 20th. That's a bit Jupiter in Gemini already.
Then at the top of the sail is Uranus in Aries, like St Elmo's fire – and the future. Don't forget that by the end of this month, a Mars, Venus and the Sun will be in Aries too. Those planets are pulling us somewhere. We are sailing into the future whether we like it or not.
The Moon and Sun are cushioned between the lovers Mars and Venus, exalted in Pisces. Perhaps the boat is best powered by love.
The only thing you can do now is try not to capsize and go with the flow.
