Here's great-great-great (oh forget it) granny Victoria getting hitched to Albert. |
Juno (discovered in 1801 but largely ignored by astrologers until fairly recently) is the asteroid associated with marriage – and she's an obvious place to look if you're thinking about weddings.
So I thought I'd quickly check out the Middleton/Windsor Juno placements. And yes, you'll be relieved to hear, astrology does work.
The thing to look at is progressions to and from the natal Juno.
Prince William's natal Juno is in his first house at 2°57 Capricorn. The first house suggests that this marriage is going to be identity-forming.
Catherine Middleton's is at 16°46 Sagittarius. No birth time so no house position.
On the day of the Royal Wedding, April 29th, Prince William's natal Juno will have progressed to his Ascendant at 27° Sag. To be exact his Juno will be at 26°49 Sagittarius.
So where has her Juno progressed to?
Oh just to 26°21 Sag.
Badabing!
One more little snippet. Both their natal Neptunes are at 25° Sag, conjunct because they are born within six months of each other. But that puts Juno right next to the glamour and illusion. I predict a romantically dreamy wedding.
(If you're looking for Juno in your own chart, it's the one that looks like a toilet-brush. Who chooses these things?)
